Sometimes abandoning the best laid plans creates room for a truly magical moment! After Autumn and Ian opted to cancel their Miami wedding celebration, they found that an intimate Anguilla Elopement was the perfect experience to embrace instead. They decided to stay at a resort Ian’s parents had visited and loved in the past, a decision made in memory of Ian’s dad who recently passed. Only the bride and groom were present for the wedding ceremony, though they brought photos of all their most important family members (and beloved dog Mr. Pickles!) with them on the trip.
The bride wore a chic mini dress (get inspired by the style here!), paired with pearl-embellished heels and a short veil. The groom sported a blue linen suit, and the couple’s elegant, laidback style was the perfect touch for a beachfront wedding. After taking portraits on the beautiful resort patio and grounds, we went down to the white sand beach, where Autumn and Ian kicked off their shoes and strolled along the crashing waves. It’s hard to imagine a more romantic setting!
As sunset drew closer, the newlywed pair returned to the hotel lawn for an intimate candlelit dinner at a private table overlooking the water.
