I am a lover of all the good things in life. Antique art, classic museums, romantic music, delicious desserts - I live for the experience of it all and enjoy every moment. I adore things that are beautiful for the sake of being beautiful, and experiences that leave your soul feeling a little bit richer.
I'm also a fan of the little things - walking my Frenchie Olive in the park on a nice day, watching a strange history documentary, or re-reading Harry Potter for the 5000th time.
Meet Sophie Kaye

I am a city girl at heart and feel most at home curled up in the window of my UWS apartment with a cup of Harney's Paris tea and the latest issue of Harpers. I started my career in the photo department of Teen Vogue and transitioned quickly to shooting runways and editorials for brands and fashion houses. Getting to mix my love of editorial work with the joy of a wedding day is thrilling, and has me falling in love with every celebration I photograph.
My must-haves: Diet Dr. Pepper, a good podcast, anything sweet, 2005 Pride & Prejudice, and the newest Taylor Swift album.
Included here because if you get to know me, you'll get to know her! I am a forever dog lover, and Olive is my very favorite. She is 24 pounds of total and complete attitude, and will probably manage to sass her way into your heart. She loves howling along to any music (especially Happy Birthday, no clue why that sets her off), has never met a person she didn't love, and has an overwhelming appetite for all cookies/snacks/treats. Her favorite things to do are visit stores for attention and sleep under cozy blankets. :)

INSPIRED BY HISTORY
I love cities with history and beautiful buildings like Boston, London, Charleston, and Paris. I love archaeology and history and my first stop is always a museum - the V&A or the Museum of London are my favorites. My dream would be to go on a dig in an ancient city to find cool artifacts. I love collecting antiques - old bottles, books, anything with a story.
FASHION BEGINNINGS
I started my career in the fashion world - my dream was to be published in Vogue and Harpers Bazaar. I still love fashion and have shot NYFW for 5 years for different clients, love working with designers, and love watching couture runway shows while I edit (D&G or Alexander McQueen are always my faves.)
SWEET TOOTH
I have a serious love for anything & everything sweet. Give me pie, cookies, or ice cream over chips or pretzels any day. Some of my favorite spots for a sugary fix are Levain Cookies (Try the chocolate chip walnut) or Milk bar - but I won't turn down a pint of cookie dough ice cream either.
Literary lover
I could happily spend hours daily reading if I had the time - my favorites are historical fiction novels but I'll always be down to revisit the classics (Pride & Prejudice, Emma, and Harry Potter of course). I listen to audiobooks while walking Olive so send me a rec if you have a good one for me!

I am a huge fan of couples intensely in love, who care most of all about the experience of their wedding day and spending it with family and friends.

I’m pretty much a one man (girl?) band, so any email discussion, questions, or images you read or see are from me. What that also means is that the second you reach out, we can get right into talking about the amazing day you’re planning, bond over our love of dogs or ice cream (or our hatred of Times Square – because you hate it too, right?) or just chat about life.
