NYC & Destination Editorial Photographer capturing magnificent weddings, elopements, engagements and events
The château itself, originally built in the 16th century by King Francis I, rests on the site of a 14th‑century fortress and was later restored in the 19th century, giving it a mix of Renaissance grandeur and romantic garden charm. Over two magical days, the rehearsal dinner took place in a natural cave on the grounds - an ethereal setting of twinkling lighting and moss‑lined stone walls, so unexpected and intimate. Maura wore a truly unique Naeem Khan gown, full of artistry and detail, for the ceremony held in a nearby historic church. After the vows they departed in a powder‑blue vintage car, rolling through the Loire Valley’s lush landscape to the château, where cocktails awaited on the lawn. The reception that followed, held inside the château, was enveloped by towering trees and lush greenery, artfully arranged by their florist.
